Wood prints put the artwork directly onto a real wood panel, and the grain of the timber becomes part of the image — light areas let the wood show through, so every piece is subtly one of a kind. It is the warmest, most tactile format we organise art by.
Choosing and caring for wood prints
Wood works best with warm subjects: landscapes, farmhouse and rustic styles, vintage photography, and anything that benefits from an organic texture. Because grain varies from panel to panel, very pale or minimal artwork will show the most variation — many people consider that the charm of the format.
