Cookie Policy

This page describes the cookies this site actually uses today, in plain English. It will be updated before any new kind of cookie is introduced — not after.

Last updated: October 21, 2026.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Cookies can be essential — the site cannot do something you asked without them — or optional, like the analytics and advertising cookies many sites use to follow visitors around. The difference matters, so this page lists exactly which ones Canvas Tiger sets, and what we never use.

The cookies this site sets

Two cookies, both essential, and nothing else:

Cookies set by Canvas Tiger

consent_choiceCanvas TigerRemembers the choice you make in our cookie banner, so we do not have to ask on every visit. It is set only when you make a choice, it holds nothing but that choice, and remembering a choice is what makes it essential.12 months

Kept on your device, but not cookies

Some Canvas Tiger features keep information in your browser's on-device storage instead of cookies. Your saved favorites live there, and so do the photos and designs you work on in the Custom Studio and room visualizer — those stay on your device and are never sent to us. This storage is not a cookie, it cannot follow you to other sites, and clearing your browser's site data removes it completely.

What we do not use

Canvas Tiger does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or social-media trackers, and we do not fingerprint browsers. If that ever changes, any optional cookie will stay off unless you allow it in the banner, and this page and our Privacy Policy will be updated before it is introduced — not after.

Your choices

The banner's two choices — "Accept all" and "Reject non-essential" — are equal because the choice is genuinely yours. Today they change nothing about what runs, because there is nothing optional to run; they exist so the record and the gate are in place before anything optional ever arrives. You can change your choice at any time: the "Cookie Settings" button in the footer re-opens the banner, shows your current choice, and your new choice replaces the old one.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's own settings (usually under Privacy or Site Settings), including for this site alone. The site works with cookies blocked — the banner will simply ask again on a later visit, because your choice cannot be remembered without the cookie that remembers it.

Changes to this policy

If a new cookie is ever added, the table above gains a row describing it before it starts being set. The current version of this policy always lives at this page.
